Alteration Pricing
Usually, I have to see you in your dress to give an accurate quote, but below are some guidelines:
Every gown is different, so the final price depends on the fabric, layers and how much work each change needs. Please use these prices as a guide only. Your exact quote is given at the free consultation, before any work begins.
Meet Elaine
Elaine brings more than 40 years of professional sewing experience to every wedding dress she alters. After 11 years perfecting gowns at one of Sacramento's premier bridal shops, she opened a private in-home studio for brides who want careful, one-on-one attention.
Your gown stays in Elaine's hands from fitting to finishing. She accepts a limited number of brides so each dress has the time, precision, and calm attention it deserves.
Begin your fitting →How It Works
We keep the process simple, transparent, and calm, so your dress is ready well before the wedding day.
Start by sharing your wedding date with us. We recommend beginning your alterations three to four months before the big day, allowing plenty of time to perfect every detail and ensure your gown fits beautifully.
Send us photos of your whole dress on a hanger, showing the front, back, and sides, along with the changes you have in mind. We will then arrange your free consultation, where you will receive an estimated quote and can decide how you would like to move forward.
Most gowns are completed in two visits:
We are located in the 95828 area of Sacramento, California, and see brides by appointment. The exact address is provided after your appointment is confirmed.
We accept cash (preferred), Venmo or Zelle. A 50% deposit is due once you decide to do alterations with us.
Get Started
Tell us your wedding date and what you need changed, and we'll reply within one business day. For the fastest estimate, text us photos of the full gown hanging up: front, back, and sides.
