Elaine brings more than 40 years of professional sewing experience to every wedding dress she alters. After 11 years perfecting gowns at one of Sacramento's premier bridal shops, she opened a private in-home studio for brides who want careful, one-on-one attention.

Your gown stays in Elaine's hands from fitting to finishing. She accepts a limited number of brides so each dress has the time, precision, and calm attention it deserves.

    Timeline & Scheduling

    Start by sharing your wedding date with us. We recommend beginning your alterations three to four months before the big day, allowing plenty of time to perfect every detail and ensure your gown fits beautifully.

    Send Photos to Book a Free Consultation

    Send us photos of your whole dress on a hanger, showing the front, back, and sides, along with the changes you have in mind. We will then arrange your free consultation, where you will receive an estimated quote and can decide how you would like to move forward.

    The Fitting Process

    Most gowns are completed in two visits:

    • First visitYour initial fitting. Please bring your wedding dress and the exact shoes you plan to wear on your wedding day.
    • Second visitWe check the fit and perfect every detail. Minor adjustments are often handled right away; if the dress needs more significant work, we will schedule a third visit.
  4. 04

    Location

    We are located in the 95828 area of Sacramento, California, and see brides by appointment. The exact address is provided after your appointment is confirmed.

  5. 05

    Payment

    We accept cash (preferred), Venmo or Zelle. A 50% deposit is due once you decide to do alterations with us.
